Configuring the Monitoring Center
To configure the Monitoring Center, proceed as follows:
- Select the Configure button ().
- The Configure Monitoring Center dialog will open:
- This dialog has three major sections:
- Report selection
Any report may be included in the “slideshow”.
Note
By default, all of the predefined reports are included in the Selected reports column.
The Page behavior selector controls whether just the first page of the selected reports or all the pages of each report are displayed.
- To include reports, drag-and-drop reports from the **Available reports** column to the **Selected reports** column.
You may include all reports by selecting the button.
- To exclude reports, drag-and-drop reports from the **Selected reports** column to the **Available reports** column.
You may exclude all reports by selecting the button.
- To arrange the reports in desired display order, drag-and-drop to reorder the **Selected reports** column.
1. **Timing**
The Switch to next report or page after control allows the user to set the interval time to display each report (or page of the report).
Note
The switch time can be set from 10 to 180 seconds.
TheMonitoring Center will cycle through all of the reports until the Refresh report contents after setting is exceeded. Reaching this timeout will force the Monitoring Center to reload all reports after the end of the current sequence.
Note
The refresh time can be set from 30 to 180 minutes.
- Filtering
The configured reports can be filtered by server or time period.
