Integrating existing projects

1. Create a new component in the UserClient. Select MELSOFT GX Works in the Mitsubishi directory as the component type.
2. In the Windows Explorer, go to your MELSOFT GX Works3 project file (GX3).
3. Copy the MELSOFT GX Works project via drag and drop from the source folder to the component’s working directory. To do this, place the project file on the MELSOFT GX Works component in the project tree.
4. Return to the MELSOFT GX Works component in the UserClient and then click on Create base version and Check-in.

The MELSOFT GX Works project now has been integrated and can be managed.

Creating new projects

1. Create a new component in the UserClient. Select MELSOFT GX Works in the Mitsubishi directory as the component type.
2. Open the MELSOFT GX Works3 editor.
3. Create a new project and save it in the folder of the MELSOFT GX Works component that you just created.
4. Return to the MELSOFT GX Works component in the UserClient and then click on Create base version and Check-in.

The MELSOFT GX Works project now has been integrated and can be managed.
