Structure of a CSV file
The basis for using the Easy Asset Integrator is a CSV file in which the components (that are set to be created or changed) are recorded.
The CSV file contains the following columns in the given order. Not all columns must be filled. If one of the front middle columns should remain empty, specify two separators in a row. If no jobs are to be created, in other words, the back columns are not filled, you do not need to specify the separators.

You can create a CSV file as a template directly after starting theEasy Asset Integrator. You can choose whether the
file should contain octoplant sample data or components belonging to your octoplant system. In addition to this, you can save your own error-free CSV file and then use it as a template, for example, for further changes or additions.

You can use the following characters as separators between columns in the CSV file:
- The list separator is set by default in your Windows system
- The CSV separator is set by default in octoplant in Global settings -> Server-> General settings -> CSV Separator
- Tabulator
- Semicolon
- Space
- Comma
When importing, specify in the Easy Asset Integrator dialog the separator you have chosen .
