AVEVA CITECT SCADA
AVEVA CITECT SCADA is a PC based visualisation software. octoplant supports the management of Schneider Citect SCADA projects and enables the cyclical monitoring of devices. Since the merge of Schneider Electric with AVEVA, this software is referred to as AVEVA CITECT SCADA.

Information on comparison
Always close your project in the CITECT SCADA editor before you begin a compare.
If your CITECT SCADA project is in the working directory of your client and has the status Not compiled, a warning (
Warning
) will appear in UserClient during a comparison and the comparison itself will most likely end in an error. For
technical reasons, octoplant is not able to ascertain prior to a comparison whether you have your CITECT SCADA project open or not.

Please be aware that AVEVA was previous called Wonderware. For technical reasons, the original name is still in use in
versiondog. From versiondog 9.0 onwards, there is also the new component type AVEVA. Depending on which version you use, both component types can be used.
