Integrating existing projects
If MOTOMAN-NX100 project data is available, you can integrate it into octoplant using the following steps:
- In the UserClient, create a new component. Select Motoman NX100 in the Yaskawa directory as the component type.
- Right-click on the selected component and then choose Open in file manager OR press Ctrl+E.
- Copy the project files (file endingsPRM, DAT, CND, SYS, JBI) into the working directory.
- In octoplant, open the file in the editor by pressing F4 or right clicking on Open with editor, or in the tab click on Open with editor.
- When you make changes, save your data and then close the editor.
- Click on Create base version and Check-In.
Create and manage new MOTOMAN-NX100 projects in octoplant
If you do not have Motoman NX100 project data, you can copy it using a job and then create a version of it:
- In the UserClient, create a New component. Select Motoman NX100 in the Yaskawa directory as the component type.
- In the Extras tab, click on Check-In without base version.
- Start the AdminClient and go to Jobs.
- Create a job for your MOTOMAN component.
- In the menu bar, select Execute selected jobs once.
- Go to the Jobs tab in theUserClient.
- Select the job results in the dialog below and click on Copy backup to directory.
- Select the Working directory.
- Click on Create a new version.
- Click on Check-In new version.
You have now integrated the Motoman NX100 project into octoplant.
Note
You can customize the component type Motoman NX100.
