File structure
During the job configuration for image creation, a directory is created in which the images are stored. The storage is done per job in a subdirectory.
This structure consists of the following:
The root directory (example:\ACRONIS_MMSImages
) is entered when configuring the job. For every job, a subdirectory is created in the root directory. The name of this subdirectory corresponds to the job ID.
Example:\ACRONIS_MMSImages15FE9F72A5B24F13AB374282C3F32932
When executing a job to create a full backup, a directory with the created image is produced.
Example:\ACRONIS_MMSImages15FE9F72A5B24F13AB374282C3F32932DemoUpload_20181212180547
In case of a differential backup, the created image is placed in the same directory where the full backup image is located.
In the job configuration, specify how many images should be retained (rollover). Once this has been reached, the new image will overwrite the oldest image. After an image has been created, the structure of the directory is examined and validated automatically. If more images are saved than have been predetermined in the rollover, the excess folders are deleted based on their creation date.
