Requirements for carrying out a station upload (from TIA Portal 15.1)

It is possible to carry out a Station upload on the octoplant server or on a PC set up for agents (physical or virtual).

On the computer that is being used for the Station upload, the following requirements need to be fulfilled:

• A licensed TIA environment (15.1) needs to be installed on this computer.
• The Windows user must be a member of the local administrator group.
• The Windows user must be a member of the local TIA Portal Openness group.
• The MasterService or agent must be started by the Windows administrator as well as a member of the TIA Portal Openness group.
