Factory Floor Status
The Factory Floor Status consists of two reports: Factory Floor Status – Device list and Factory Floor Status – S7 MLFB overview.
The Factory Floor Status- Device list report presents an overview of the devices and technologies supported by octoplant in a table. A status is reported for each device based on the status of the monitoring tasks per device (also called device-specific monitors).

The report Factory Floor Status – S7 MLFB overview shows a list of all assemblies that belong to an S7 controller. MLFB overview is also set up for SIMATIC S7-1200 and S7-1500. With this report, the user can see at a glance which firmware is installed on which device and if a firmware update is necessary.

- Only those devices for which a job also exists in octoplant are displayed and monitored in the Factory Floor Status.
- The information that appears in Factory Floor Status always reflects the last job execution. If no job has yet been executed, Factory Floor Status will not display any result.
- The data in the Factory Floor Status are determined and recorded independently of the storage strategy.
- For SINAMICS frequency inverters, the MLFB number is not read out.
Note
Other special hardware or software is not required to use the Factory Floor Status. The standard hardware and
software requirements apply for octoplant.
