Integrating existing projects
If a project or a backup archive already exists, proceed as follows:
- In the UserClient, create a new component. Select the component type KUKA KRC from the folder KUKA.
- In Windows explorer, go to the folder in which theKUKA.WorkVisual project is saved.
- Move the KUKA.WorkVisual project into the working directory of the component.
Note
In the project tree, drag-and-drop the KUKA.WorkVisual project onto the component.
- In the UserClient, select the KUKA KRC component in the project tree and click on Create basis version and Check-In.
Your KUKA KR C2 robot is now integrated into octoplant and can be managed within octoplant.
How to integrate projects when no project data is available
You can still execute jobs and create backups for KUKA KR C2 robots even if no project data has been checked in. To do so, proceed as follows:
- In the UserClient, create a new component. Select the component type KUKA KRC from the folder KUKA.
- In the UserClient, select the KUKA KRC component in the project tree and click on Create base version and Check-In.
- Create and execute the job.
- In the UserClient, go to the KUKA KRC component. In Jobs, select a backup. Click on Copy backup to directory and copy the backup into the working directory.
- Create a base version.
