Selecting agents for version and version comparison
In the UserClient, you can configure a compare agent for comparison (for example after creating a new version).
Note
The compare agent is only used to compare version and version of the component’s content. The backup and version comparison is not executed (for example when a job is running).
- Open the UserClient.
- Select the component where you want a compare agent to be used.
- In the tab, go to Edit and click on the button Select a compare agent.
- In the dialog Select a new agent, select the agent that you will use for the version and version comparison.
- Click on OK.
Note
These settings are distributed by the server to all client computers. To avoid any inconsistencies, the dialog **Select
compare agent can only be opened in one UserClient at a time. If the user opens this dialog in another UserClient**, an error message will appear.
