1. In the **Project** drop-down menu, select the project for which the upload is to be made. Only projects that are contained in the selected component and checked in on the server are displayed here.Projects created with CODESYS V2 have the extension *.pro, CODESYS V3 projects have the extension *.project.
1. In the **Interface Type** drop-down menu, select the interface via which you address the PLC. Here, you can choose between **Gateway V2**, **ARTI V2**, **Gateway V3** or **ARTI V3**. The corresponding CODESYS version is used accordingly. Alternatively, you can also enter the entry "interfacetype=..." in the input field **Access parameter**.

Note

The job configuration for CODESYS V2 projects currently only runs via the access parameters. 1. Specify the connection data of the gateway in the Gateway IP, Gateway Port, and Gateway Password fields. If no port is specified here and in the Access Parameter field, the default port 1217 is used. 1. In the Device, PLC-IP, and PLC-Port fields, specify the connection data for the device. If no port is specified here and in the Access parameter field, the default port 11740 is used. 1. Enter your access data for the device in the User account and User password fields. 1. If the PLC should store the data in the Motorola byte order (big-endian), activate the corresponding checkbox. 1. Only for CODESYS V2 projects: If you want to perform an upload of the boot project and compare it with the data from the runtime, activate the Upload boot project option. This allows you to verify if the runtime, which is being executed on the IPC, was created from the boot project in the memory.

The following online data can be backed up using a job:- .SDB ProjectID and Timestamp .<Projectname>.PRG

Boot project

1. In **Access parameters**, enter the device-specific access parameters for your project. You can also list the access data that you can specify in the fields above in the **Access parameter** field.

Note

If data has been entered both above, in the individual fields, and below in the Access parameter field, the entries in the Access parameter field are preferred for reasons of backward compatibility. 1. The entries in the Access parameter field correspond in form and content to the CODESYS specifications for INI files. For more information, please refer to the CODESYS documentation. 1.

Special importance must be attached to the following parameters:

    - value0 =`<IP address of the PLC>`
    - value1 =`<Port Nr.>`
1. Save the job and then test it by clicking on **Execute selected jobs once**.
  1. The job result (backup) ist not suitable for a disaster recovery.
