Integrating projects

If your versiondog system supports Schneider PL7 PRO, you can integrate Schneider PL7 PRO projects into versiondog.

Integrate existing projects

1. Create a new component in the UserClient., which you will find in the Schneider > SPS folder.
2. In Windows explorer, go to PL7 PRO project data. The project file has the STX format.
3. Copy the PL7 PRO project using drag-and-drop from its original folder into the component’s working directory. Place the project file on the Schneider PL7 PRO component in the project tree.
4. Go to the Schneider PL7 PRO component in UserClient and click on Create base version and Check-In.

The Schneider PL7 PRO project has now been integrated and can be managed within versiondog.

Integrate new projects

1. Create a new component in the UserClient., which you will find in the Schneider**> SPS** folder.
2. Open the Schneider PL7 PRO editor.
3. Create a new project and save it in the folder of the Schneider PL7 Pro component you just created (the project file has the STX format).
4. Go to the Schneider PL7 PRO component in UserClient and click on Create base version and Check-In.

The Schneider PL7 PRO project has now been integrated and can be managed within versiondog.
