Enable/disable monitors
If you have allowed their configuration, you can enable and disable monitors in the report Factory Floor Status – Device overview.
To enable/disable monitors, following options are available:
- In the report Factory Floor Status – Device overview, a configuration dialog allows to configure if a monitor is enabled/disabled (this configuration is only valid for this server)
To enable/disable a monitor for all devices, use the following options in the configuration dialog:
- Click on the dropdown menu next to the report selection button:
- Select from the dropdown menu the configure monitor behaviour entryThe monitor configuration dialog is opened:
- In the dialog for the monitor configuration, you can use the arrow u to display the monitor that you can be enabled/disabled for all devices
- Make your selection using the checkboxes. You have two options:
- Enable for all devices
- Disable for all devices
Note
If a selected monitor is already disabled for all devices, the checkbox Enable for all devices will be inactive and
cannot be selected. If a selected monitor is already enabled for all devices, the checkbox Disable for all devices will be inactive and cannot be selected.
Note
These checkboxes are mutually exclusive. Only one of them can be active at any moment, never both
Note
Monitors that are already in the same state will not be modified. They will keep their state

If necessary, enter a comment (reason for change) !!! note In the monitor configuration dialog, you can set if a comment must be entered and how long this comment must be using the setting Minimum comment length when enabling/disabling monitors. Default: 8 characters. You will not be able to leave the dialog with OK before a long enough comment was entered. If you set the minimal length to 0, then the comment will be optional

When required, you can also configure other monitors here

To apply the configuration, leave the dialog using the OK button

Using checkboxes in the main table of the detailed dialog of the Factory Floor Status – Device overview, you can enable and disable each monitor of the device !!! note Changes made to the main table are applied to the detail dialog and vice versa
To enable/ disable a single monitor, use the following options in the main table:

Move your mouse to the status cell of a device
- Click on the arrow next to the symbol in the status cellThe monitors are displayed:
- Enable/disable a monitor by checking/unchecking the box for that report

Note
If you move your mouse over the checkbox used to enable/disable a monitor, a tooltip will appear, showing which user has enabled/disabled the monitor at which time. If there is a comment, it will also be displayed.
