Creating a custom report from scratch
To create a new custom report from scratch, proceed as follows:
- Select Custom Reports, then select the Add report button.
- The Select dataset dialog will then open.
- Choose a dataset in the dropdown menu.
Note
The dataset you choose cannot be changed later.
- A page is opened where you can build visuals with your data using Microsoft Power BI. There is the option to add additional filters, visualizations, fields and other customizations as required.
- Once you are satisfied with the customized report, go to File (top left-hand) and select Save asto save a copy of the report.
- The Save report as dialog will then open.
- Enter the Report name.
- Select Save.
- Your custom report has now been created.
