Configuring comparators

When working with TwinCAT V2 projects, you can enter defined passwords for configuration. The TwinCAT V3 comparator must not be configured.

1. Start the UserClient.
2. Select the component that you wish to edit.
3. In the menu bar, go to the Edit tab and select Edit component configuration. Or, alternatively, right-click on the component and go to Edit component configuration.
4. Select Comparator configuration…. The Comparison configuration dialog will appear.
5. If you have more than one project in a component, select the project from the dropdown list.
6. Under File, enter the read and write password. Under CODESYS user enter the user’s details. Select OK.

1. Click on Apply to save the changes.
