Configuring comparisons

To exclude certain lines from the comparison, you can do so by configuring the comparator for Bosch Tightening System components.

The editor adds a timestamp to each backup of the files. This would basically detect differences every time a backup is compared to a previous backup or version. To avoid this, the following strings must be excluded:

• In CRC files “LAST_CHANGE”
• in TXT files “Firmware”

You can customize the comparator on a per-component basis or during job configuration for each job. To customize the comparator for the component, proceed as follows:

1. Start the UserClient.
2. Select your component.
3. Right-click on the selected component and then select in the context menu the entry Edit component configuration.
4. The dialog Component configuration will then open.
5. Select the option Comparator configuration.
6. The dialog Comparison configurationwill then open.
