New in octoplant
- Show “New in octoplant” on first launch of a new release If you clear this checkbox, you will no longer be shown after an update the new features for octoplantwhen you do the first restart.
When closing the UserClient
If you check this checkbox, all working directories on the client will be automatically deleted when you close the UserClient.
Warnings
Here, you can edit warnings that are generated when you open the editor with no edit rights. For example, if the User has only reader rights, the user will only be able to check out components and make local changes (Risk of data loss through overriding).
Automatic timeout for the AdminClient
Here, you can select from a dropdown menu after how many minutes of inactivity a module in the AdminClient will be closed automatically. Unsaved changes will be lost when you close the module. The Off value ensures that the module will not be closed automatically.
Note
This timeout does apply to the modules Event log and System dashboard.
Information displayed in the clients
In this field, you can specify a text section formatted in HTML. This will be displayed in each client’s interface on the bottom left. This can , for example, be a copyright notice or an indicated confidentiality level.
The text section may contain images and links.
Note
Links must not be opened directly from the application, but only copied to the clipboard by the user and then, for example, pasted into the address field of a browser.
In order to specify images, please be aware of the following:
- Images can only be specified as a base64 encoded string. For information on generating a Base64-encoded string from an image, see https://www.base64decode.org/. Example of a Base64-encoded image:
