Single server: Restoring data

Requirements

• The server archive data has been backed up.
• The Single server system was rebuilt after the failure to the extent that the octoplantServer can be installed. The current octoplant system has been uninstalled and is no longer available.
• The user, who restores the backup, must have administrator rights on the server system.

Restoring data

1. Restore the backed up data to thevdServerArchivedirectory. If there is a remote archive, copy them to the vdServerArchivedirectory of the remote share.
2. Install the octoplant Server applications using theSetup.exefile from the octoplant Setup directory. During installation, select the Server with existing server archive option to include the backed-up server archive.
