Configuring the timeout

Image Service jobs can potentially run for very long periods of time and thereby exceed the timeout defined globally for all upload classes. If this happens frequently, the timeout can be set higher especially for the Image Service.

To alter a timeout, proceed as follows:

1. Start the AdminClient and open the Jobs module.
2. Click on the ribbon item Global job settings.
3. The Upload type specific configuration dialog will then open.
4. Activate the tab Image Service.
5. Set the desired value in minutes in the field maximum time for job execution. The maximum value is 540.
6. Confirm by clicking on OK.

(.. VD$AConfigurationUploadClasses.ini) by changing the value of key 9850 in the [AUVESYDiskImage] section.

The value entered in the upload type specific configuration dialog is taken from the INI file.
