Integrating existing projects

If a DSF archive already exits, proceed as follows:

  1. Create a new component in the UserClient. Select SINUMERIK ONE as the component type in the Siemens/NC directory.
  2. In Windows Explorer, go to the folder where the DSF archive for your SINUMERIK ONE device is stored.
  3. Move the data into the file’s working directory. In order to do this, drag and drop the project data onto the component in the Project tree.
  4. In the Project tree of the UserClient, select the Sinumerik ONE component and click on Create base version and Check-In.

The data of your SINUMERIK ONE device is now integrated and can managed.

Creating components for a backup when no project is available

If no project is available, you can create and check in an empty component.

  1. Create a new component in the UserClient. Select SINUMERIK ONE as the component type in the Siemens/NC directory.
  2. In the project tree of the UserClient, select the SINUMERIK ONE component and then click on Create base version and Check-In.
  3. Create a new job for the empty component. After successfully executing the job, you can create a version and check in the created backup in the UserClient.

Note

You can customize the Sinumerik ONE component type in the Component Type Editor module. This is located in the

AdminClient.
