How to integrate new projects

To create versions of SINAMICS devices, a project of the device program is required. The configuration of the access path is read from the offline project.

1. Create a new component in the UserClient. Select Simatic S7 in the Siemens/SPS directory as the component type.
2. In Windows Explorer, go to the folder where the project directories are stored.
3. Copy the data into the component’s working directory.
4. Open the project in the associated editor and connect to the device via a network.
5. This connection must have been successfully established once for the access path to be read from the offline project.
6. In the UserClient, select the Simatic S7 component in the Project tree and select Create base version and Check-In.

The data of your SINAMICS comverter is now integrated into and can be managed in versiondog.
