Authentication settings

If you have a GxP license, the following additional authentication options are displayed in the Security tab, located in Global settings.

• Additional user authentication for creating a new version necessary When creating a version, the user is requested to confirm their identity.
• Additional user authentication necessary for Check-In When carrying out a Check-In, the user will be requested to confirm their identity.
• Enable two-person rule for creating a new version and Check-In Authentication is required for both versioning and Check-In. Both authentications must be performed by different users.

The settings can alternatively be made in the Server.ini file (vdClientArchiveVD$AConfigurationServer.ini) in the [GMP] section.
