Integrating projects
Integrate existing projects
- Create a new component in the UserClient. Select Schneider Concept in the Schneider/SPS directory as the component type.
- Go to your Schneider Concept project data.
- Copy the Schneider Concept project from the source folder to the working directory of the component using drag and drop. To do this, place the project file on the Schneider Concept component in the Project tree.
- Go to the Schneider Concept component in UserClient and click on Create base version and Check-In.
The Schneider Concept project has now been integrated and can be managed within versiondog.
Integrate new projects
- Create a new component in the UserClient. Select Schneider Concept in the Schneider/SPS directory as the component type.
- Open the Schneider Concept editor.
- Create a new project and save it in the folder of the Schneider Concept component you just created.
- Go to the Schneider Concept component in UserClient and click on Create base version and Check-In.
The Schneider Concept project has now been integrated and can be managed within versiondog.
Note
When checking in components, with and without base version, the following error message with error code ID 126 may arise.
In that case, proceed as follows:

Stop the MasterService service under Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.

Copy the file msvcr71.dll file from the directory with the current installation files, subdirectory toolsMicrosoft (Example:
Z:versiondog 9.0.09_0_0_0toolsMicrosoft
). - Paste the copied file in the program directory into the directories vdogServer and vdogClient or, if you use agents, vdogAgents.(Example:
C:Program Files (x86)vdogServer
,C:Program Files (x86)vdogClient
oderC:Program Files (x86)vdogAgents
). - Restart the MasterService.
Note
You can customize the Schneider Concept component type in the AdminClient, Component Type Editor module.
