Configuring comparators

For CODESYS V2.X and CODESYS V3.X projects, you can attach defined passwords for comparison.

1. Start the UserClient.
2. Select the component that you wish to edit.
3. In the menu bar, go to the tab Edit and select Edit component configuration. Or, alternatively, open the context menu of the component and select Edit component configuration.
4. Select Comparator configuration…. The dialog Comparison configuration will appear.
5. If you have more than one project in a component, select the project from the dropdown list.
6. Under File enter the read and write password. Under CODESYS user enter the user’s details. Select OK.1. Select Apply to save your configuration settings.
