Opening components automatically in versiondog

In the Components, Job Status and Job Log modules, you can open the components directly in the UserClient using the component path.

Prerequisite for this is that the protocol extension is registered in the Client Settings dialog. This is located in the UserClient and is required to start versiondog through the web link.

1. Click on the component path.
2. Usually, a dialog for selecting a program to open the link is displayed. By default,VDogClient.exeis stored in this dialog.
3. Select theVDogClient.exeapplication and then confirm your selection.
4. The login dialog for the UserClient will then open.
5. Log in into the UserClient using your log-in data.
6. After logging in, the UserClient will then display the corresponding component.

If the UserClient is open, clicking the component path will directly display the corresponding component in the UserClient.
