Manual synchronization
Parallel servers can be synchronized manually using theVDogParallelServerUtil.exeapplication. The application VDogParallelServerUtil.execan be run either from a command prompt or from a batch file.
Note
Both the batch file and the command line must be run as administrator. Otherwise, it may not be possible to start the fileVDogParallelServerUtil.exe.
Executing theVDogParallelServerUtil.exeapplication may take some time, depending on the size of the project and metadata.
Note
After running theVDogParallelServerUtil.exe application, a log file namedsync.logwill be created and the path to this file will be displayed. If errors occur, this file contains information on possible causes.
