Option 4: Setting up your own server/client environment for older operating systems
Use Case
A clear division is needed between components and projects on an older and a current operating system.
Proceed as follows
- Set up a system with the new version of versiondog with server and clients.
- At the same time, set up a versiondog system with version 8.5.1 to be able to use the clients on older operating systems.
