Configuring projects for a restore

Before downloading your Schneider Unity project to the device, the project needs to be configured to be able to download additional data to the device. This step is mandatory before downloading to the device so that a backup is created which can be used to perform a restore.

1. Open the project in Schneider Unity Editor.
2. Click on Extras.
3. Click on Project settings….Image: Integration Schneider Unity Pro
4. Then go to General > PLC embedded data.
5. Activate the options Upload information and Comments. (Also activate the option Animation tables if required)Image: Schneider Unity Editor, Project Settings dialog
6. Click on Apply and then on OK. Afterwards, download the project as usual onto the device.
