Requirements for component upload

To use the component upload, the following requirements need to be fulfilled:

• The servers need to be connected to each other through a network.
• You will need to have set up a network share for the server archive of the computer that you want to upload the data.
• A user account with (at least) reader rights for the network share.

• Users with the account specified here can access and copy the server archive from different locations of the company, independent of the rights assignment in versiondog’s user management.
