Uninstallation

You can uninstall the octoplant hub with theoctoplanthub.msifile.

Note

If you have made changes to theconfig.ymlfile that you would like to keep, copy the file to another directory. The installation directory (for example,C:Program FilesAUVESY-MDToctoplant hub), along with theconfig.ymlfile, must be deleted after uninstallation to enable a new installation.

  1. Execute theoctoplanthub.msiapplication.
  2. The octoplant hub Setup Wizard will start.octhub_install_1.PNGFig. 1 Setup Wizard
  3. Click on Next.
  4. In the next dialog, you can select whether to change, repair, or remove an installation of the octoplant hub. If there are no errors, the Changeand Repairbuttons will be greyed out.octhub_uninstall_2.PNGFig. 2 Setup Wizard – Change, repair, or remove installation
  5. Click on Remove.
  6. In the next dialog, click on Remove.
  7. A message is displayed stating that a system restart must be performed to completely uninstall the octoplant hub.octhub_uninstall_3.PNGFig. 3 Message on restarting the system
  8. The octoplant hub is now being uninstalled.octhub_deinstall_4.PNGFig. 4 Setup Wizard – Uninstallation complete
  9. Click on Finish to close the octoplant hub Setup Wizard.
  10. Check to make sure that the installation directory (for example,C:Program FilesAUVESY-MDToctoplant hub), along with theconfig.ymlfile, no longer exists. If you have made changes to theconfig.yml file, copy it to another directory and delete the installation directory.

Note

Alternatively, you can uninstall the octoplant hub directly under Add or Remove Programs.
