Usage information
If you are requested by us to send your usage information to AUVESY-MDT, you can have a corresponding file generated in the Usage Information view.
You can access the Usage information view by clicking on the Configuration button in the user interface of the octoplant hub.
By clicking on the Download button, a usage information file will be created. You can store them in any location in the directory system.
Automatically sending usage information file to AUVESY-MDT
Note
Automatic sending sends the same file to AUVESY-MDT that can be created using the Download button.
Once the checkbox Send automatically to AUVESY-MDT has been checked, the file will be sent every 30 days onto AUVESY-MDT.
Manually sending usage information to AUVESY-MDT
- Click the link displayed next to Upload to.
- A form will open in your internet browser.
- 
- Activate the tab Usage Report.
- Then click on Choose and select the file that you just created.
- Now click on Submit to upload the file.
- Below the form, it will be displayed whether the upload was successful or an error occurred.
The file is sent through FormData and encrypted in HTTPS to the address shown in the respective area.

The JSON file contains the following user information:
- Product: Product (octoplant hub)
- Serial number: LicenseSerialNumber
- Licensed user: Users – Licensed
- Logged-in user Users – Used
- Licensed Server: Datasources – Licensed
- Used server: Datasources – used
