Integrating projects when project data is available
- Open the UserClient and create a new component. Select MGuard Switch in the Phoenix Contact directory as the component type.
- In Windows Explorer, go to the folder where your PHOENIX CONTACT MGUARD router is stored.
- Move the project data (
config.atv
file) into the working directory of the component. - In the project tree, select the PHOENIX CONTACT mGUARD router components and click on Create base version and Check-In.
Your PHOENIX CONTACT MGUARD router project is now integrated and can be managed within versiondog.
Integrating projects when project data isn’t available
You can still execute jobs and create backups for PHOENIX CONTACT MGUARD router, even if no project data has been checked in. Proceed as follows:
- Create a new component in the UserClient. Select mGuard Switch in the Phoenix Contact directory as the component type.
- In the UserClient**Project tree, select the PHOENIX CONTACT MGUARD router component and click on Create base version and Check-In**.
- Create and execute the job.
- Open the UserClient and go to the component. In Jobs, select a backup. Click on Copy backup to directory and copy the backup into the working directory.
- Create a base version.
Note
You can modify the component type mGuard Switch in the AdminClient > Component type editor module.
