Creating access tokens
Access tokens to the versiondog server are currently needed, for example, to run the ExportModuleor to import the data of the octoplant system into the octoplant hub and display it graphically there. A description of the octoplant hubcan be found here. In the future, other application scenarios for access tokens are also possible.
The Personal Access Tokens dialog opens when you click on Access Tokens in the AdminClient.
The Existing Tokens section displays the date, time, and (if available) a comment about the tokens that have already been generated.
Note
The tokens themselves are no longer available after closing the dialog.
To create a token, click on the Create button in the Tokens area. You can also store a comment about the token (in the text field) before creating a token.
The generated token is displayed in a separate area and copied to the clipboard.
Note
We recommend that you save the token immediately, because once you close the dialog, you will not be able to access it again.
