Integrating existing projects

1. In the UserClient, create a new component with the component type Simatic S5 (which you will find in the Siemens > SPS folder structure).
2. In Windows Explorer, go to the folder where your SIMATIC S5 project is stored.
3. Move the project files into the component you have created.

1. In the project tree of the UserClient, select the Simatic S5 component and click on Create base version and Check-In.

Your Simatic S5 project is now integrated into versiondog and can be managed within versiondog.

Integrating new projects

1. In the UserClient, create a new component with the component type Simatic S5 (which you will find in the Siemens > SPS folder structure).
2. Open the SIMATIC S5 editor.
3. Create a new project and save it in the Simatic S5 component you just created.
4. In the project tree of the UserClient, select the Simatic S5 component and click on Create base version and Check-In.

Your Simatic S5 project is now integrated into versiondog and can be managed within versiondog.
