Integrating new projects
Integrating an existing EPLAN project
- Open the UserClient.
- Create a new directory/ sub-directory (F7) in the Project tree.
- Click on the option New component (F8). In the Create component dialog, select Component type in the Component type library in the EPLAN folder to select the EPLAN P8 component type. Select the component Excel and then click on Create component.
- Click on Show in file manager (Ctrl + E).
- Copy the EPLAN project to the file manager, save and then close the file manager.
- Click on Create base version and Check-In.
The EPLAN project is now integrated into and can be managed.
Integrating a new EPLAN project
- Create a new component in the UserClient. Select the component type EPLAN P8 in the EPLAN directory.
- Open the EPLAN P8 editor.
- Create a new project and save it in the folder of the EPLAN P8 component you just created.
- Switch to the EPLAN P8 component in the UserClient and click Create base version and Check-In.
The EPLAN project is now integrated into and can be managed.
Note
There are two possibilities to compare EPLAN projects:
- A comparison of the timestamp and project name (files *.zw1 and *.elk)
- A visual comparison via a PDF document
