Backup requirements

An essential requirement for backing up MOTOMAN-NX100 using versiondog is that the machine can be accessed by a built-in FTP server:

• The FTP function must be enabled on the NX100. General parameter: FD***=1
• FTP server settings: CommandRemote needs to be switched on. General parameter: RS001=1**or** the sequence on the programming device:
  1. Management Mode
  2. IO
  3. Pseudo Input Signal
  4. Command Remote=on
• It may be necessary to set the RS007 parameter to the value 2. General parameter: RS007 =2 !!! note

   This option extends the functionality of the data transfer function read-only mode. When using the command remote mode (PSEUDO INPUT SIGNAL set to CMD REMOTE SEL and the programming device to REMOTE), this setting should not be necessary.
