Controls with different versions
In order to perform upload and comparison processes, versiondog needs access to Schneider Unity Pro. However, it is not possible to install more than one version of Schneider Unity Pro on one computer.
Therefore, if you need different versions of Schneider Unity Pro, they cannot be installed on the versiondog server at the same time. Therefore, you need Upload and Compare agents to allow versiondog to access the machine where Unity is installed.
Note
The Upload and Compare Agents should be named uniquely so that they can be easily found in the job configuration drop-down menu.
For example, you could name your agents “UploadUnity6” and “UploadUnity8” in an environment where you’d need a connection to two different computers, with a different version of the Unity editor installed on each one.
